Q2 Book Club Selections
Happy April, book buds!!! We have a few new books that we can't wait to read with you as we settle into spring and gear up for summer. Let's chat a bit about each book and in regards to the June voting options!
In April, we will be reading The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison
I have been recommended this book more times than I can count. I'm told its a thriller/mystery that follows a twisted gardener who proudly keeps a beautiful garden of unusual "butterflies." Now look me in my eyes and tell me this isn't the perfect pick for spring! :P There are a ton of used copies on Pangobooks and a couple on Thriftbooks and the eBook is available on Kindle Unlimited!

In May, we will be reading Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
This is the latest release from Emily Henry and we always have good discussions when we read her stuff. PLUS a few of you were coming for me for there being a "cannibalism theme" for book club this year. Bet you feel pretty silly now, don't ya!? This is a contemporary romance and from the synopsis it's giving grumpy/sunshine writers are forced to work alongside and in competition each other to cover a very twisty story. I always enjoy Henry's storytelling so I am excited to see if this one hits! It publishes on April 22 and you can preorder it on Bookshop.org and support a local bookstore while you're at it! We will also be holding a giveaway for this one so keep an eye on the Discord server so you don't miss it!

For June, we are putting it to a vote!
We randomly selected 3 titles from your suggestions for us to choose between for our June read and to be honest, this might be the most exciting month. Y'all recommend such cool stuff.
The 3 books we selected for the vote are:
Come Out, Come Out by Natalie C. Parker
Victorian Psycho by Virginia Feito
Where the Dead Brides Gather by Nuzo Onoh
I linked all of them to their Storygraph pages so you can read the synopsis and check TWs in anticipation of the vote!
